Quite simply which types of circuit are your preference in game?

Personally I have enjoyed everything in the game but my preference is circuits over point to point.

This is certainly the case for offline races (online is a no go zone for me) and time trials. I love the concentration required over repeated laps trying to constantly improve each lap.

For drift events and photography there's no difference but circuits generally are my favoured driving experience.

I actually like both for different reasons, but if I have to choose one, then it'll have to be point to point, purely because I'm a rally fan.

I do agree that the challenge TTs and races on circuits are kept fresh by the face-offs and focus needed to find that perfect combination of lines (especially on tracks like Atlanterhavsvegen.

Yes the face offs and constantly updated ghost laps are very well designed. I can happily do 20-30 time trial laps on the run (circuits) in a trance like state. Wake up JSB, wake up...... normally by that point the car looks like it's been attacked by a cheese grater.

I would prefer P2P if those courses were longer. I voted circuit, so long as we're not talking about one of the racetracks because for some reason I really cannot stand those.

I choose point to point because I am bored driving around circuits since I play gran turismo so much.
Ah, but don't you feel that DC adds to the circuit ethos with all of the face-offs, wind-blown objects, Seagulls, Crows an Flamingos (not to mention confetti, balloons and random plastic bags being blown around the place?) In a way, it is an extension of what Kazunori-san was talking about when he cryptically mentioned the 'edge-effect'.

Definitely Point to point for me. I love it when the tracks are so long, you might start off good and then your heart starts pounding because you still have maybe 10 corners before the finish so you don't want to mess it up :D

definitely circuits, I feel with PtP I can never learn/remember them well enough, while with circuits you can get in a zone and do 50 laps and work on the one corner you have issues in etc. I don't know though, maybe in 6 months I will feel differently when I will remember the PtP courses more, but then again having always been a PC racers and spending hours working on my GPLrank to shave a tenth here and there I think I might always prefer circuits :)
