I think the special ARAI helmet is awarded for getting your S license.

I drove a Griffith a long time ago, and had a plain white helmet. Taking the same car to the same track (Costa d'Amalfi) I now have the helmet you show, and a red driving suit.

I haven't tried the 1886ers or any other old open-top cars recently.

It's too bad your helmet isn't awarded as optional. The plain white had its advantages in photo sessions. Hmm. To be accurate, I must compare replays saved from time trials, and actual photoshoots.

Actually, I'll also need to check whether an old replay retains the helmet you had at the time, or whether it gains your new helmet.
