Regulations
1st Annual Tuner’s Pit Drivers Championship Series

A driver must complete at least 4 of the 6 tracks in each event to qualify for points.

Both tires on one side side of the car must remain within the outlined track surface. When a tire is completely outside of the paint stripe marking the track perimeter it is considered outside of the outlined racing surface. You may allow two tires to come in contact with runoff areas , shoulders, copings and sidewalks but both tires on the opposite side of the car must remain within the tracks painted outline. In cases like London where the track makes use of side walks any surface inside the perimeter barriers is considered within the racing surface.

At no time will a driver post a time for a lap in which the car comes in contact with any course barrier, such as but not limited to guard rails , walls ,railings and hydro barriers.

Drivers will save ghost replays for all posted times. Replays will be solicited at random from half the drivers pool in each event with a random track then selected for each drivers submission. A list of the Drivers and tracks selected will be posted in the event thread after the event has closed. Drivers will have 3 days from the time the list is posted to submit replays to Replays@TunersPit.com.Failure to submit a replay on time or a replay found in violation of these rules will result in a penalty of 5 seconds being assessed to the posted time. Any time posted for this event making the online ranking’s top 10 will automatically qualify for review and is exempt from submittal dead lines.

Drivers will post “ALL” of their times in a single post and will update that post as needed to record progress. All times posted must be for laps made during the events 12 day period and must be posted before the event deadline.

In the event that more than 50 drivers participate in any given event only the top 50 posted times will score finish position points. Drivers finishing outside of the first 50 positions will be able to score participation points.

Considerations for drivers with obligations such as vacation or situations such as illness will be handled on a case by case.
