Drivin' Style

I'm becoming smoother as I head into the professional races and the enduros.

Changing to the Logitech has definitely smoothed out my throttle application.

Style? While I've been accused of having none, I believe that you don't need sheer speed as long as you're in front of everybody else. Of course so STAY in front in a 'slower' car, you need a smooth technique and a willingness to take a front bumper up the @$$....

My style is whatever works for the course and the car, or sometimes even what doesn't work for the course or car :o

But anyway...I tend to like to drive cars that are easy to powerslide in, like the racing Vipers (STP, Oreca, GTS-R), the Speed 12, and the GT40s

I really don't like cars that are very slow and understeer alot, or those that go real well into a corner and suddenly stop steering and head for a wall, lol

I have to agree with Skynyrd on this one. I'll qualify this statement by saying I AM a beginner, but I kind of feel like whatever method gets you over that finish line ahead of the other cars works, though you get style points for making it look good...:D

Personally, I'm looking the game over trying to find cars that I can mod into tight-handling monstrosities!

Must admit - I do love taking a car much too good for a particular series and driving it like a lunatic - big, lurid slides, etc...

Unlike GT3, where I am forced to drive in a more reserved manner, I prett much drive powerful rear wheel drive cars, and enter turns almost sideways. Drifting in that game was great.:)

vat_man being an Ocker (Aussie), he'd probly know of Mark Skaife. I drive like him. I take all risks necesarry (eg, diving down the inside of cars under brakes, cruising in between 2 cars-one on outside, one on inside of corner) without being an idiot and ****ing up a corner and losing my position.

Thanx
Mr GT2
