Doesn't GT5 count the driving distance for our cars when driving free run sessions online?
I ask because I just bought a Nissan 300ZX earlier today. I went online to test it out and I ended up in a room where they were just about to start a 3 lap race on the Nordschleife. I raced along but only managed to drive about 2½ laps because the winner was way ahead of me. After this I went back to my garage to check the stats on my Nissan and saw that the car had a driving distance of 51.8 km. That makes perfect sense considering the lenght of the Nordschleife.
Afterwards I decided to practice some drifting on Tsukuba and I found a room with some Japanese guys to drift with. In this room I drove 10-15 free run laps but when I went back to my garage again the driving distance counter on my Nissan 300ZX still said 51.8 km. Is this a bug or is there a good explanation?
