I guess this is the right place to ask this question but if not, I apologize.

I have long loved my PS2, and have always been a GT fan. I have a Logitech wheel that I have been using. I don't remember the name of the model, but its not the most expensive or anything, but it has the blue rubber grip, an comes with pedals, etc. I couldn't find it on the Logitech site, and I suppose they haven't made them for a while.

I, like everyone else, am anticipating the awesomeness that will be GT5, and realizing that I will need to upgrade to a PS3. That isn't such a problem, but I realized that my wheel might be obsolete. I was wondering if anyone knew if these wheels were compatible with PS3s and GT5P (and therefore hopefully GT5) or whether I will have to upgrade that too.

Thanks

EDIT:

I just found this:
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/175-5909923-5772630?ASIN=B000A2BCOQ&AFID=Froogle&LNM=B000A2BCOQ|Logitech_Driving_Force_Ex_Wheel_for_PlayStation_2_963356&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=B000A2BCOQ&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001

so I suppose that some places still sell them, but they probably don't make them anymore.

Thanks again.

That wheel (I'm pretty damn sure) does work with the PS3. A friend of mine has one and he can play GT5P with it. I'm quite sure just about any USB wheel should work. Just to backup, I have an old Driving Force (The GT3 wheel) and it works just fine with the PS3. 👍

It will work, it is even in the wheel list in the latest GT5 time trial. It originally was a official GT wheel so PD officially supports it.

I have that wheel, works great on the PS3 and with GT5p and GT5TT :) it may not be as good as the new fancy ones with a clutch and what not, but why spend more money when you already have one that works just fine? :)
