I'm getting a Logitech GT wheel for Christmas but am already looking to build a stand. Unfortunately, the wife wont let me open the wheel before the big day and I need to be prepared.
There are two things I'm interested in.
1. What is the maximum width of the base of the pedals. This will have to go between the two struts and I need them as close together as possible to maintain the rigidity of the frame.
2. How deep does the wood have to be onto which the clamps will go. Will a 2cm thick piece of MDF be enough for the clamps to grip?
