Well first of all I'm new to these forums, so hello!

I just purchased a Driving Force GT today to fully experience GT5 and I have some questions. Its hard to turn the wheel after about 20 degrees, is this normal? And not hard, but it requires more effort.

And also, I'm a really good driver with the DS3, and seem to be sucking with the DFGT right now. I skid with cars that I've never skidded with before with the wheel. Is the learning curve hard? And is it worth it in the end? Will this wheel be a part of me as I get used to it? I sure hope so otherwise there's a 100 bucks wasted.

Glad to be a part of GTP now! And I hopefully get good with this wheel :indiff:

The wheel is good, and the resistance is you working against the car.

I find it quite good for knowing when u 'oversteer' if that's even a word :p

You can however turn it down in the settings menu of the game, if you prefer the wheel to be easier to handle. (Forcefeedback)

You're into cars and you don't know the word oversteer? lol

But yeah there's a setting in the options menu for altering the FFB if you find you're having to fight the wheel too much. Experiment and find a setting that feels right for you :)
