There is a strange noise coming from my driving force gt. Wheel is only 2 days old and it started to happen after the first day. This video below perfectly describes the problem and the noise i have been suffering from.

As i said, what you see in the vid began to happen just the second day of my new wheel. When not driving, this problem may not seem so annoying but while driving the wheel begins to vibrate(as it should be) and the problem in the video causes an annoying and unnatural noise because of the vibration. (especially in rallying, gravel roads) I definitely know it is not normal and i wanna know what caused it and can it be fixed and how?
.

I think that's normal. Logitech wheels have a FFB deadzone right where the wheel is centered, and the video shows the sound starts when you wobble the wheel at its center position. It's just the sound of the FFB motors engaging.

Does it malfuction in any other way? Is the FFB weak?

Well in fact i dont know the truth anymore. some say it is normal, some say it is not. Wheel doesn't malfunction in any way. No problem at FBB. You said the noise is normal, but I remember it wasn't making that noise at the very first day i bought it. In fact thats why i thought there might be problem and even thought it is broken. i thought sending it to service but there is chance that they will say the wheel is ok.

Logitech wheel has a small "center spring ffb" dead zone. (My fanatec wheel also has a small dead zone but not as noticeable) It has a deadzone to keep the motor rotating back and forward (pulling against itself) at the center like it does in NTG 2011. (so software can override it) They suppose to fix this in the next patch as severe people have reported broken wheels from this game especially X360 Wireless.

I wouldn't say this can be fixed via software when it is a hardware issue...

I'd recommend sending an e-mail to Logi's customer service and include a link to the video. The sound is clearly noticeable and they will know if it's normal or not. At least this saves you the hassle of sending the wheel in only for them to return it to you after a few days, should the wheel be OK.

what do you mean by patch? some software??

Some games this dead zone is more noticeable and some it practically nonexistance. Logitech stated that they could removed this dead zone by firmware but won't since the wheel's performance depends on it. Or more likely this dead zone is to keep from burning out the wheel's ffb motors. I notice in GT5 when I'm driving a car which the ffb is very tight at the center (no dead zone at all) my DFGT can get very warm after a while.

i understand there is a deadzone but the issue here is not the deadzone itself, it is some rattling noise when i turn the wheel rapidly to left and right at short distance. deadzone is as it should be but the noise is not normal and thats my problem.
