Driving Force GT Woes..

I start up profiler, hit the r1 button, suddenly the wheel stops responding, not even to steering, braking and accelerating. Is it a software glitch? If so, how do i fix it? Is there a newer version of profiler other than the one on the site?
 
If you downloaded it from Logitech's site, then it should be the latest one.

If you don't use the profiler does the wheel work in games?

Is your wheel still under warranty?

I'd get in touch with Logitech support.

Well,kinda yes. the wheel works. And nope, not under warranty. Bought it off second hand. I wonder if its a driver issue of some sort. What are the steps to totally remove the drivers of the wheel from my system? It cant be hardware as the wheel still works perfectly fine after i replug it, just that at that time, nothing is responding no matter what i press.
