Driving force pro - Not working for ps3?

Ok, I've never used this wheel for console games, however I've used it for playing live for speed on my laptop. I plugged it in the player one spot, but it doesn't seem to be working. The D-pad doesn't work, and I know it has power b/c the light on the left side of the wheel is blinking.

PS- Should i turn off the other controller?
 
You mean you accidentally flipped the usb cable? I did not know that was possible.
