My wheel randomly hits the start button durring quick countersteers (and no it aint my hand).
Then it centers itself in the 90 deg right turn position. The force feedback is at 1/2 strength when it happens. It happened twice today. If this continues, I have to get a new one.

Anyone else have simular problems?

The part about about the wheel centering itself when you hit start is normal... however, going to the start menu by itself isn't.
Someone else could probably help you better.

My DFP used to have that same problem, only with the back button though. It would randomly exit out of windows eventually to where the popup says "Do you wish to quit Gran Turismo mode". Also, I noticed that the Force Feedback on the wheel was becoming weaker and weaker by use too.

So I returned the DFP to the store, received my full money refund and bought a new one for 2/3 the price. If the problem keeps occuring, I guess you should just call Logitech and ask for replacement.

Yeah, the wheel has always centered itself. But now the center point is a Full Right Turn.....lol

Anyways, it fnally stopped pulling right, but the resistance from the force feedback is so week, its pissing me off.

Its sounds faulty take it back and get another one.

sounds like you have a dodgy usb socket.
try restarting the game after slightly removing your usb lead and reinserting it just a bit, it sometimes worx better when it isnt fully inserted.
Otherwise, just get a new one man.
But dont EVER GO BACK TO YOUR PAD.

hehe

Nah, I tried the USB ports in the other PS2's. Nothing works.

The damn thing fried....=(
