Ive only played gran turismo on a dual shock controller, im contemplating now whether to get a DFP now, Ive tried it out before at my friend's house, its pretty cool.. you have more control over the steering and acceleration and deceleration.

The DFP sure makes the GT4 experience a whole lot better, but i do find that i can recreate faster times with the DSC, but i dunno.... i would like some opinions of people who can tell me more about the DFP. Thanks guys

To be honest , I felt just like you . I bought one , and was kinda dissapointed. It's cool. But very hard. UNLESS you have a proper 'cockpit'. Doesn't have to be a racong seat and stuff . A fixed table and chair would do it. I need to help myself with a chair :) 2 chairs actually. One to sit on , and the other to mount the DFP on. :yuck:

My advice : Get a table first (ask your friends DFP)

There's a whole subforum dedicated to that question, me thinks....

Take a look around there cause I promise you.... this thread won't live long ;)

To answer your q: The DFP is no doubt a great addon if you take your driving games seriously, but like the above poster said: Make sure you've got somewhere to mount it (a sturdy table with nice height, or room for a custom cockpit). I have a wheel myself (original DF, but still better than the DS2), but nowhere to mount it and it bugs me :yuck:
