Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the Logitech Driving Force wheel with the extra buttons (D-pad, X,Circle, Square, Triangle)? I use a PS2 for my driving, and I want to use my Driving Force with a real wheel, a homemade sequential shift, and a handbrake lever (I do a lot of WRC), built into my cockpit. I want to relocate all the buttons on the wheel to the dash of my cockpit, but I need to know where everything wires up to.

Hi burnin_rubba :
:D Welcome to the GTP Forums. You might try contacting this member through a "PM", he has fabricated his own Wheel from "Scratch." His screen name is "Werner Winkels" ...UB57
:D

Thanx Der Alta: I often wonder if English is MY 1st language!!!

You can do a search through this forum to see what he's done.

Keep in mind that English is not Werner's first language. He'll be a bit hard to understand, but he's near genius when it comes to re-wiring some of this stuff.

Hi,

Sorry, I'm have only the wiring diagrams from the red Momo Force & GT-Force wheel .

But nearly every Radio and TV repair Shop can to install plugs in Your Wheel ! ( To add a extern Shifter )

he's gonna take the wiring diagram for his wheel and reroute everything so it feels like a real car. ie, build a handbrake and put the handbrake wire down there rather than having to push circle on the wheel...

Here is the diagram and for the shifter on the side, you would want a standard up and down shifter. If you tap into the butterfly casing you will find the shifter and then have the up and down shift wires. from there i would test it, make sure it shifts smoothly, but i wouldnt suggest using one moves to every individual gear. so just up and down, remember, up and down.

yeah up and down making a repelica of a real life shifter. now i have hte madcatz two wheel that has an up and down shiftedr and you can assign buttons to the shifter and the pedlas so i might trry to get the wiring forr the wheeel..

Thanks GT-40/787b, but its actually the newer Driving Force wheel I have. When I open it up, it has the main board, feeding sub-boards in the actual wheel, and the shift paddles have three wires each  . Nobody seems to have modified this wheel, but is there anyone here who knows anything about electronics?
