HI all a friend of mine brought to me his wheel he used on gt4... So i pluged it in expecting ab etter experience, but the game is unplayable.:guilty: Also i'm so much more slower than with a pad...

Tried it on any bumpy track like the nordschleife or trial mountain and it is so hard and "jerky" that makes the table walk away from me :D

Also i searched around and i can't seem to find a way to adjust the strenght of force feedback Where have they hidden it? in the wheel setup of driving force gt pro it shows no choices for it.

thanks in advance and sorry for the "noob" question, but this is the first wheel i get my hands on :P

The force feedback can be changed in the steering settings icon.

Also the wheel can take a bit of getting use to, start out with driving on the easier tracks, like High Speed Ring, with a car that's easy to drive and work your way up to the harder cars and tracks once you get the hang of it.:)

+1

There's a bit of a learning curve from controller to a wheel. Just practice a bit, don't fight the wheel too much and keep smooth, you'll get it.

Oh ya, do the A-spec races from the beginning, it helps a lot.

Good luck.

thanks for the suggestions i'll try them out later today. i did race on high speed ring, and it was "quite" ok, but on any tracks with bumps the wheel would start moving letf-right by itself with insane stranght :P

i'll try to find that Force feedback option and tinker with it, thanks so far!

Don't give up on the wheel. Once you're used to it, you'll never go back to the DS3.I use the same one & now want one with much greater force feedback. Set your FFB down a bit (maybe 5?) & drive on easy tracks, as mentioned already. (Also, use slower cars. The X1 & FGT/F1 cars can cause it to vibrate & shake quite a lot. Reduce downforce a bit if this happens.) Then gradually increase the FFB. Soon you'll wish you had even more. The key is to keep your movements as smooth & limited as possible.

You'll find the FFB option in the 'Options' menu. Just look out for wheel settings.

Enjoy & don't give up! :)

P.S. Try & find a heavier table or attach a sandbag to your existing one. That's what I did before I bought my seat back in GT4 days...
