I ran a search and there wasn't anything like this so I have a few questions about driving. I just picked up a wheel today and this is my first time hitting gran turismo since gt4 a couple years ago. I am attempting to run with all assists and TCS off with ABS at 1. I'm using the Logitech Driving Force GT Here are some issues I'm having

1) Spinning on acceleration. I tried a tuned Honda S2000 with about 400 hp first and the thing was spinning if i tried to give it any gas. I then switched to a 1970 Mustang and this was less problematic. Any help?

2) Spinning on braking - It may be that the brakes are locking but sometimes when I brake the back wants to slide and push out. How can I prevent this and if it happens how do I correct? I've tried giving it some throttle and that made it even worse.

3) Spinning in turns - This kind of goes along with number 1. If I manage to make it into a turn I end up spinning when I try to give it some gas on the exit. Also other times when I hit a turn that's between 60-90 degrees my car tends to have major oversteer or understeer. Most of the time it either throws the rear and spins or pushes into the inside wall.

4) Would you suggest continuing to figure out how to drive with those settings or slowly easing in to them?

Thanks for any help

I'll just share my thoughts and experience so far, I'm not the best driver out there, so, yeah, take it with a grain of salt, maybe :D

Well, it comes down to throttle control, of course. However, working on the fully cutsomisable LSD will help. Also, the toe setting of the rear wheels should affect how easy accaleration leads to oversteer/spinning.

This does usually happen when there's too much brake bias to the rear, which means that the rear wheels (which have less load under braking and, therefore, less grip) brake traction and slide out. Try setting the brake bias to something like 7/3.
If the car slied out, it's usually best to ease of the brakes and countersteer. A little amount of throttle while still braking might help as well.

Sounds like you're braking to late into the corner. If grip is needed to slow the car down, it doesn't have much traction left to turn, which leads to understeer. Or the rear coming loose, depending on the car and brake bias. The suspension setup is also important here. Either try reading Scaff's tuning guides (which are brilliant 👍) or try looking for a decent tune in the tuning section.

Personally, I'd try to find an easy to drive tune for a low powered car instead of turning the assists down.
