Driving Mission "slipstream"

Hi guys, I've some problems to complete the driving mission (can't remember the number) where you drive a Nissan Skyline GTR into the oval ring and you've to catch the first skyline 15" ahead. I would like to know which tecnique you use to beat it
I'll appreciate any suggestion
