A commecial center has just sent out their special offers and there's quite a number of wheels. So i'm wondering if anyone has the same on GT6 and can give me some heads up!

Beside the usual names they have in sale

thrustmaster ferrari racing wheel red legend
thrustmaster ferrari challenge wheel (seems VERY cheap)
two dots turbo gt racing (this looks awesome)

anyone has an idea about these wheels?

These are all really low budget wheels. I would avoid the Ferrari Challenge, it's basically a toy.

Personally, the best lower budget wheel is still the DF GT by Logitech or its predecessor.

If you can get hold of a used Red Momo Logitech, these are built like a tank and are fantastic. I regret selling mine for a DF GT.

never ever seen that red momo anywhere, but seems to be very costy. any clue about that two dots thing? it "looks" really like a DFGT, but haven't found a single word about it

I have a Driving Force Pro (ps2 era) that works surprisingly great. I can feel everything. You may be able to pick one of those up pretty cheap.

It was about the same as DFGT in the day so, mid range to budgetish in today's money.

They don't make it any more, but the reason for me suggesting it to you was that I occasionally see ones on eBay that go for between £30-£70. Not a lot of cash for a wheel that will basically out last you.

Very good wheels for sure but also very pricey, my Fanatec setup cost me about $700 for the wheel and pedals, works great though :)

I got the CSL rig. Replacing my g27 wheel with the club sport BMW rim and base with the club sport pedals to match. Can't wait tell there next week. gonna grab the club sport shifter next month, when its out. Just dropped $950

With current economics it would take an year to save that much, provided i do not get other issues in my life (car needing tires or fixing, having to repair somethin in flat ecc ecc)... I have to change my cars EGR valve since AGES :(

If you go second hand you can get some good deals on the fanatec gear, over the past year I have picked up a Porsche GT2 wheel with clubsport shifter paddles and 6 speed/sequential shifters, clubsport pedals, and a playseat evolution, all for £300, but buying new would have cost me in the region of £800 (not sure what the translates to in your native currency)

eBay is your friend on that one, especially with a lot of Xbox One owners selling theirs due to them not being compatible (at the moment!)

I would take the Logitech Driving Force GT if I were you. It is a decent wheel that isn't very expensive. The wheel you mentioned earlier I wouldn't take. You might as well take a DS3 then. ;)

DFGT is what i have and i love it, i'm waiting to one day buy the next up one with the H-shifter, but the wheel itself is fantastic.

You won't regret it.

The DFGT is a great wheel considering its cost. The pedals however are pretty basic. e.g. The brake pedal is pretty soft but this can be adjusted fairly easy just by stretching the spring a bit or like others do, put a piece of foam underneath it and/or strap a bungee cord (like one for on bycicles) around it.

Either way, you won't regret buying a DFGT.

Got a Logitech DFGT & Playseat ... perfect wheel ... pedals are soft but precise ...

I disagree. I had a fanatec GT3RS V2 which I got in may 2012. In July 2012 it died so I got a replacement wheel which cost me €36 to send back for RMA. It took customer support ten days to get back to me when I needed the wheel replaced. Then in October the powersupply died on the replacement wheel so I got a used power supply to replace the dead power supply. February the replacement wheel stopped working properly meaning I had to get a second replacement wheel so I sold the second replacement wheel.

Cool mod on that dfgt :D

Seems there no cheaper alternative, so no choice but to wait for work to pick up again and money flow in my pockets :/

If the bungee cord is in your way (especially if you drive without shoes), you can also try to fit a squash ball 👍

What fanatec wheel did you have?

How did you miss that?
