Well I am of need of a new phone. And in my budget I can only afford these 2 phones. Droid Razr and Iphone 4. I don't want a Iphone 4s or 5. Nor the Galaxy s III. These are my only choices I want. Which phone is better in speed and specs. Which handles emulators better? This is a debate in default settings and memory. Nothing on it. Well the emulators do count. Which has better battery with medium brightness on?

I wouldn't get the iphone 4, it is getting pretty outdated by now. The razr is good phone however is no longer cutting edge but does have a very good battery life.

What is your budget?? If you can tell us that then that would help hugely as I can then look at various other options. (nexus 4??)

I have Verizon. And my budget is $50 to buy the phone with 2 yr plan with 2 gb of data, unlimited texting, and 700 mins share plan with the family. But I am mainly for free phones with 2 yr plan. Razr and Iphone is free where I live but with 30 dollar fee though. But its all good. What suggestions do you have?

Hmmn, I'm not so sure on the american system as it is different to what we have in the UK.

Is that $50 dollars a month contract or how does it work??

Sorry I'm not that much help on this part. However I would still advise you to look at the Google Nexus 4, it is very cheap for the spec. If you can't stretch to that then the Xperia S is also very good.

If you are looking for an Android phone you should be looking for a dual core CPU and 1GB of RAM. But even then there is other options for portable emulation such as the OpenPandora. Costly option but it's the size of a DS and is a portable computer that is able to play old consoles such as the NES up to the PS1 or N64. Plus you get the benefit of gaming controls and up to 10 hours of normal use under the battery.

I think the Razr has 1.5 GB of ram. That should be perfect.
