Man they both look promising.....

I probably will try to get both systems since they both are new and unique (especially the DS).

However, I am sceptical(Spelling?) of how many games I would see that are good in the DS, the lineup is promising but same as the Gameboy, many have been exclusive to Japan.. (example is the Super Robot Wars Series, Summon Nights, Tales of Phantasia, etc.). But the dual screen actually looks great.

I would be safer to buy a PSP because of Sony's capabilities concerning their relationship with game producers. And the fact that even if there are many Japan exclusive games (again Summon Nights 3 or any Drift Game were not sold in the U.S.), there are more games that are released in the U.S. market...

But damn!! That DS is refreshing.... I think Nintendo is not going to lose it's grip on the handheld industry (oddly the DS is quite big)..

Well their games looked promising....
And a lot of 3th party producers seem to be wanting to develop on the DS.... The Gameboy SP was a great improvement in the designs and funtionality...
The Game Cube was a failure because they didn't seem to understand the need for mature(non- childish, not meaning gorey or anything) games. Nintendo believed that the market was strong for children or something. I think they would learn from their mistakes. (Or so I hope)..

Besides the DS has two slots.. One for the DS and one for the GBA games... That means it has a big inventory of games already..

I'd definately go with the PSP over the DS. It has way more nice features then DS(though I like the double screen). But in a way I trust in Sony. I jsut have that feeling that it will be better.

I'll try to stick with both. I mean, the PSP will be a good decision for sure. And the lineup will be good for both too.
Since the DS will be compatible with GBA games it is a good deal, nevertheless.

I still don't understand the point of two screens. It's a marketing gimmick for sure. I have an original GBA. Me and my brother combined may have played only 2 or 3 games on it. So, backwards compatibility is debunked for me and most people.

As for PSP, I'll be waiting in line when it comes out. The coolness factor alone is worth the price.

Maybe Nokia should be taking some notes...

I guess that might guess make the production cost go up but...

I think one screen is touch sensitive or some thing......
Plus one screen can be a map and the other for actual game play...
But eh... I think I would go for the PSP... I think it is a safer investment into my money....
