DS3 Auto-Inputs when racing

One of my DS3s does not seem to like GT6 recently, as it would input/press buttons on its' own when I am racing in GT6. This does not happen in any other situation. I tried resetting the controller settings, no luck.

What to do now? :confused:

Well, something is broken on the controller. Perhaps racing is more sensitive to DS3 inputs than when you're navigating the menu, that might be why you only see it when you're in a race?
 
Twisting the controller does this over time. I'm not too sure of the efficiency in the video above but I've had to simply stop using 2 controllers. One of them was so bad it pressed every single button constantly. :lol:

Usually I've found twisting it around a bit until it stops can fix the issue temporarily.
 
I had a similar problem with R2/L2 with a separately purchased DS3. Those always seem to go within a year or so, unlike the in-box controllers that last forever (I still have my original Sixasis that came with my first PS3 back from 2008 and it works like new). The analogs seem to act up as well, but it's fixed by clicking and turning them a few times.

These work pretty well. Shipping takes a bit (2 weeks ish), but well worth the savings. Are they perfect? No. If you are looking to be an ace driver, these probably won't allow for that as the Left Stick has a small touch of dead zone, but it is a darn good controller for $10. The look and feel are practically identical.

ya my R2 button broke and i suck with x button for gas but i dont really feel like spending another $60 for another controller that i know will get broken in the same place from gt6 and i also have a wheel so if i wanna get super cereal i just hop on there but now i have to make new tunes for my wheel
