The Logitech G27 Racing Wheel is fully supported in GT6. And yes, you can use the paddles for sequential shifting, but the shifter on the G27 isn't even designed for that.

However, the clutch has been nerfed pretty badly & is practically unusable compared to most proper PC sims.

I have a G25 myself, & have had lots of fun in GT6 driving for pleasure as well as racing online.

If i was to modify the shifter to make it sequential would i be able to use the shifter? Also does it work in gt5

Thanks so much

The G27 is fully supported in GT5 & GT6. I don't know if your mod would work, you'd just have to try it & see. I have a G25, so it can be switched from Sequential to H pattern.

I'm thinking i should have got eh g25, is the g27 better?
Not sure you can even buy a new G25 anymore, it's an older model. You should be aware that as of today, Logitech has not provided any drivers to either Sony or Microsoft for the PS4 or XBone, so to this point, no Logitech wheels are supported on next gen consoles. On PC of course, everything is supported.

Do you think they will be supported? If they are not no big loss consoles suck at the moment, no games for them.
I honestly have no idea. It's possible someone may develop an adaptor that will make them work even if there is no direct support. I'm waiting for the launch of Project Cars, and if Logitech isn't supported, I'll probably skip the PS4 and go PC for my next phase of gaming.

Don't know, never used a G27 so as to be able to compare them. The G25's gear stick can function as either a H Pattern or Sequential shifter, so it does offer that advantage. However, many say that the G27's gear shifter feels firmer when shifting.

Like Johnny said, it would be very difficult to find a new G25, & they usually charge twice the RRP because they're so rare. You could pick up a second hand one off ebay I guess. That said, both the G25 & G27 are very hit & miss; some people get good ones & have lots of years of great fun with them, & others get bad wheels & nothing but trouble. Mine's been rock solid for just over 5 years now, only had to open it up once to fix a calibration issue, that's all.
