With medium racing tires my best T1 is at 26.9.


17 laps is a bit long I think, a real challenge to stay consistant.

On my first try, a Impreza WRX made me spin of on lap 6 when I was putting him on lap and he hit me in the side followed by my rear left tire hitting the dirt.
 
This is crazy guys. I mean, a multilap in a BC is a breeze compared to this. :crazy:

17 laps around EL Capitain on meds and it needs to be 100% clean. Yeah right! 👎
 
For a higher level of fun,three for the sprint and ten laps for the main race would be enough.
Last night 3 hours of racing and only made it to the finish 3 times.
Still need to check the replay but I think I had some contact before T1.

Just like the first two races,6 and 15 min. for both races is cool.

appie says no contact on purpose... i think a little brush or the AI standing in your way is not something to worry about...

I'm aware of the A1 rule here.

I don't think it can be argued that the BC is hardcore racing within GT and yet even they allow some leeway for multi-lappers:

3.9.3: Long Races (more than 10 laps) and Long Track Races: Offs, Wall Touches, and non-beneficial AI Touches shall be assessed a penalty as follows:

2 or less Offs or Touches: no penalty
3 Offs or Touches: 0.5 second total penalty
4 Offs or Touches: 1.0 second total penalty
5 Offs or Touches: 2.0 second total penalty
6 Offs or Touches: 4.0 second total penalty
7 or more Offs or Touches: DQ

I'm not asking for changes in this race. All I ask is for some leeway and more consideration for the 'fun factor' in future races that have a lot of technical driving involved.
 
I think its actually alot of fun to try and get that many laps in clean. It rewards consistency, thats my favorite difference between WRS and DTM, in WRS its all about outright speed for one or two laps, whereas in DTM you have to be fast and consistent. Works great for me, dont change a thing appie!
 
Hey, in the real DTM, they'd run that track for one race of 40 laps. I'd prefer trying to hit that cleanly, as, although some drivers here can pull of 17 near-perfect laps, 40 would cause everyone to focus on gathering a rhythm and making minimal mistakes instead of attacking every turn.
 
And those who carry the most weight have to attack every corner in order to compete with those who carry less.

Only problem for me is that I still have no time for the main race.
Or it is in the fifth lap,sometimes in the tenth I hit something or have a offtrack.
Unlike others I have already a high frustration level(seems I'm born with it) but give it a few more tries.


free time is limited ,so I hope to get a time before the deadline.

appie's concept by adding a lap for each round give me some fear.
I hope the ring is next week.:scared:

now i can't put that rule in the moment because i don't have the max drive
and have to buy one first:grumpy: :ouch:

Yo , the ideia Top 5 racers of each race must provide a replay , is a good ideia . But this is for fun ! I m here for fun !
In my country the max drive cost a lot of money and my city dont have this to sell . I agreed , but is to expensive to me buy this system .

The CLK was better behaved here than I expected, which was nice, but having to lap the AI twice on a circuit like this one was an excercise in frustration {much grimacing and shouts of "Get out of the X$%^&*£ road!" :lol:}.

Put many,many hours in it.
But as always it will pays out in future races on this track and of course in Lan races.:)
 
just finished the sprint race.


I know Ekstrom can be a champion DTM driver and accomplished WRC driver, but I don't think I have what it takes.
