...oh...I forgot....in the world of gtplanet...i suck...lol....maybe I shouldn't run so much.....double digit miles a day does seem a bit excessive...don't you think?

Two digits?You mean 10-99 miles? :)
I think it is not so much.I usually do races about 30 laps or so and do them 3-4 times plus the qualifiers if is there any.That's 400-500 km per day (about 300 miles).
Just think again: a good lap at Suzuka (a five kilometres long track) takes a little bit more than 2 minutes with a car powered by a 300 Hp engine.To reach a good lap you need to do it 20-30 times.Only this practicing session in itself more than 150 kilometres and takes only an hour.I think if you do your hobby only in 1 hour you are a lucky (or a busy) man. :dopey:
 
Cheers Nemeth Laszlo, i must be a luck man as iv not run this more than an hour or two and don't talk about Suzuka haha. I hate that track with a passion, its like my kriptonite :scared: :crazy:

Lol im not that fast, last week i just took a different direction and its you that holds the top spot. But i ain't gonna let you keep it easily haha ;)

Funny, that's the same thing waynz and I have been working on since the completion of Round 1 when we found out about the rule of having to start the race on the same tire setup we used for Qualifying. For me, a podium finish would be very pleasing indeed.:D

I hear ya TS!:sly: I'll be giving it another shot tonight. It'll be optional on my part as to whether to send the times in later tonight or tomorrow night if I give it one more try then.

UPDATE: Times Sent I just sent the times in to TS. Thought I'd do it in case something happens like a summer storm knocking out the power and/or the phone line later on.

Wow, I finished up much worse than I thought I would. But then again, I only had one quick run and then submitted it asap. But this gets me wondering, how often do you guys run and finish the race before you finally submit a definitive time?
 
Very happy with Dels win at Trial Mountain .. {a long time favourite track} .. congrats to Ren Tec and Avery for the podium .

After using just 1 at Apricot .. Del tried 5 different tyre strategies and completed over 120 laps {not including qualifying} .. so it all paid off .

Clubmman R5 is going to be a different story .. not at all many laps completed there .

GT Pro in answer to your question i only ran the race for one day and did the Qlap a few days later. Then i subbed Erik's and my times a week early.

CAMikaze, thanks and year it is something i up together. I don't know about a banner for the series as that would be upto TS to decide but i could have a go if he so wished.

Lol, how often does this happens? I can't believe i have identical time as 2nd finisher. Oh well, I am happy with the results, let's see what 3rd race will bring on.
 
Just to let you guys know, the tie break (which will apply in all race rounds) between Ren-Tec & Avery GT was driver points.
