The basics:

  1. You can modify your car's top speed to your liking.
  2. You can use any tire compound/tire combination for qualifying.
  3. You must start the race on the same tire compound/combination you qualified with.
  4. You can set the AI up however you wish, as it doesn't matter in this series.
  5. You are allowed to discuss your qualifying times ONLY!
  6. You do not have to vary your qualifying/race start tire combo from race to race.
  7. Most importantly, have fun! :)
 
Well i use to hate this track with a passion but after running it a few times and learning the track i quite like it now. Though i wish it didn't look like a car park at a supermarket. Oh and did anyone like that i posted my Qlap from last week, because i know alot of you are state side.
 
Was nice of you to post your Q lap!

after doing 30 odd laps you would think its not possible to go quicker perhaps shave .2 off or something like that but some of you guys are SO quick like 2 - 3 seconds quicker I cant understand it. I know a wheel makes a difference but it can’t be so much also I try being smooth no tyre squeal etc etc.
 
nO nO nO .. its you FordGT .. nothing wrong with those corners ; just a matter of getting used to them ; after 20 odd laps its a breeze :crazy: .. though after 100 odd laps you'll still be finding a quicker line somewhere .

Once you have dialed in this track if all becomes easy like Del says. I now have a good full race time in only two a temps, the first being lost due to ai sucky driving lol. Qlap done also.
 
Remember, tomorrow (september 1 @ 23:59 EST (GMT-5)) is the deadline for Round 5 times. :)
 
Took me a while to get this one..... Still don't think I ever took the same line twice in the race :dopey:

lol, TS my friend I did not even catch this until now, but all this time you had the "Opel Vectra" instead of the "Opel Astra" put up in the race post.:)

Ok im sorry to say this but i have to do this, ok right well it concerns fordgt150 total time. I believe it to be wrong and not possible, let me explain. Take his best race lap of 1'36.567, x that by number of laps18. Sum 96.567 seconds x 18= 1738.206, then add one pit stop not to mention passing the ai or the first lap (standing start) which i estimate to be 25 seconds. So 1738.206 plus 25 seconds = 1763.206, then divide that by 60 to get the minutes time which = 29'38.677????? This is based on him doing his best lap every lap, it don't add up to me Sorry fordgt150.

Ts im sorry but my points are wrong too, man i feel like a baddy now :(. Last time i had 98 points and this time i got 28 as i got second best race lap and pole with my 1'32.279.

Im sorry to put this on a down note and here are my replays to show my race and im sure its just a simple mistake somewhere down the line.

At this moment I'm full of doubt about this race series, I will however bite my tongue and see how things play out.

I realize that errors will be made and except that, I also realize that sometimes people do things that others simply cannot do. There have been some things going on here that I find very hard to believe, I'm not going to attack anyone in particular but I would sincerely hope that all are honest and do there best to make things fair and correct.

If it came to actually haveing to check replays, that would be very sad indeed, I check many replays for the wrs and it takes much time and effort. I for one am not willing to spend hours on end watching 30 minute replays of any ntsc guys here. Think of it this way; I typically watch 2 to 4 wrs replays a week, they are of the one lap variety so it may take 20 minutes or so to evaluate each one, our replays would be of the 20 lap variety so do the math.

I'll leave it at that for now, hope you all understand me, I like running here and hope to continue doing so.
 
What? The race has already ended? And one of my favourite tracks too. 👎

This is the first time I've looked at the race, time has gone quickly. Too quickly if you ask me.
 
I am really sad about this problem again. :indiff:
In the first season of the DTM they seemed very serious problems.
I have no inspiration to race here at the moment...:grumpy:

Here's hopeing this does not get ugly, or die...... In a possitive sprit I have a few suggestions.

1. Lets here from fordgt, is that your correct race time that you submitted?

2. Lets all step back and take a deap breath, now then I'd like very much to run Laguna and think others do to. We can all put our best effort foward and insure that our times are clean and lagit from now on.

If this does not come around soon I will be leaving :(

I'm going to let fordgt150 speak his side of the story, but I really can't argue with the analysis that Ren-Tec made about his times.
 
crap....just go ahead and disqualify me because I typed in the wrong time, I went back to the reply screen and it showed a time of 29'52.xx I will post a pic of the screen, it's my fault and I deserve the consequences for not being accurate with my typing...sorry, and for now on I will post pics and replays of everything. If don't want me in the series anymore, just let me know, and I apologize for the confusion, and if I would have saw the error previously I would of made an adjustment
 
No worries fordgt150, i just thought it was a very good race time for that best lap you posted. So i went ahead and checked it because i know my race was good even if it was my only full race on fuji. Its a shame you can't watch it as im pal and if you are wondering, i use that calculating system for my races before iv run them based on my average in a 10 test ;)

ps. i work out what pit stops to run as well using the calc
 
I'll post what disciplinary actions will be taken towards fordgt150, but I won't permanately ban him from the series, something a little too harsh for a human mistake. I will make necessary adjustments to points & time tables.
