Can someone tell me what are the consuquences of this? , do you to open the disc tray sometimes and put the DVD up side down for example, or what?

Cause i didn't saw an (good) discussion and helpfull answers in other threads.

thanks.

PS: this site Rocks!!!! and Egghead and maskrider, thank you for all the info and movies, that really relieves the pain of waiting alot!!! thanks 👍 👍 👍

Dual layer DVD's are different from Dual Sided DVD's. Dual layer DVD's do not need to be flipped over to access the additional layer. You, as a end user, really see no difference in operation from a single to a dual layer DVD.

I hope that answers your question.

Ok, but if it changes from the first layer onto the second layer, i don't have a second of delay like on DVD happens? cause that would be bad in a highspeed turn :sly:

That's why it skipped, because it was changing layers

Yeah you always see these warnings on Dual layer DVD disks saying "warning item may skip, this is due to the changing fo layers". But I rarely notice anything.
