Dualshock3: AI more Easy than G27?

I, i have a question.
Maybe a DUMB question or impression...
I played GT5 with my G27...
Im trying to Gold the IC-10 test... bus is a pain!

But looking videos on YouTube, i have the impression, doing this test with DS3 controllers is more easy... the AI is slower.

Is just mine impression?

proably just you.

Its definetly harder to use a wheel. That test took me a good few tries. I kept screwing up at the last few turns. Your chance to overtake position #1 comes at the 2nd to last turn. The last 2 rights before the straight. The a.i. moves to the outside and gives you free access to the inside line, but you need to hit it hard. and keep it under control.
 
some things are easier with the wheel some are easier with controller.

Wouldn't think the AI is any different though. I could be wrong.
