Some quite nice cars there, although I'm generally I'm not fussed by the whole Dub thing. The only car I didn't like was the champagne Audi with Bentley wheels. However, the cinematography is brilliant, and that's what kept me watching to the end. Thanks for posting!
 
OH YEAH, Good to see so many MKIII& MKIV Jetta's and GTI's getting there props.Some excellent Corrados & Sciroccos in there as well,far less common. Thanks for posting very good film work.

1st one I don't know, 2nd is Rob Zombie (check Matrix OST), 3rd I don't know but it's a pretty cool song.

1st is 'Granite State - One Shot' and can be downloaded for free underneath the video.

2nd is 'Rob Zombie - Dragula'

Not sure of the 3rd though.
 
Maybe I'm just missing the point, but I'm pretty thoroughly unimpressed by the entire thing. Apparently there is a very rigid code of what is 'cool' to do to an older VW since most of the cars looked way too similar.

And I completely fail to grasp the point of putting wider wheels/tire on the BACK of a FWD car.
 
I give them credit for not doing garish paintjobs and hideous bodykits, I admit, but that's about as far as it goes. I just keep seeing a bunch of cars that would have made nice track rats or autocrossers... except they all have to slow down to cross a manhole cover and they probably all understeer like pigs because they're carrying an inch and a half more rubber out back just to make the rims dish farther.

OK, OK, I understand that not everybody likes racing, but these things have been ruined for street duty too.
 
Why do so many of the cars have such disgusting wheels. Seriously about 70 percent of all those cars had just terrible rims.

I'm guessing the owners have bought them because they like them? I think they all look awesome, especially the Audi on Bentley rims. The colour coded wheels are the best though.

It's all down to taste, the whole VW euro style thing is definitely a love it or hate it trend. I happen to love it! 👍
 
I don't mind most of the wheels, and I agree, I like the color-keyed look. But I just don't get the slammed look, and I don't get the staggered-width wheel look on car making less than about 400 hp, and I will NEVER get the idea of wider wheels on the back on ANY FWD car.
 
The poke and the lack of gaps between the fender and tire are definitely hard to explain on VWs. I'd say that trend is pretty questionable.

However, I find that most done up VWs (or, ones done by somebody who knows what they are doing) look absolutely brilliant.

Quoted for truth. The cars in that video all looked brilliant, though personally I'm not a fan of the slammed look. I'd have them all riding on the same wheels, but with a nice (though still small) gap 'twixt tyre and arch for the perfect stance. And without stretched tyres.

But VWs definitely suit the clean look very well.
 
As previously stated, euro thing is definately love it or hate it. I enjoyed it a lot, especially the corrados. I wish mine looked like those.

After watching again think I am gonna lower my Jetta not quite as extreme but some of the black Jettas 👍

And the Dark Navy Corrado close to end...SMOOTH

IMHO,the wheels are the best things on that cars,when i see BBS RS on a MK4 Golf ,i get a big grin on my face. :)

I also like the slammed euro look as much as racing look.

How'd I miss this? It's a cool video, nicely produced and full of tasty VW goodness. It's giving me all sorts of naughty ideas about Mk2-3 Golfs/Jettas.
