Ok, so I'm in england on a student ambassador trip, but now it's homestay, where we go and stay with a local family, and it is so cool. It feels odd being 3000 miles from home yet feeling like you havent left america.I'm frustrated with this company ish thing that does these trips. we only got an hour in the tower of london.


P.S. to anyone from the British Isles, I like your bacon. It's got a lot more meat on it than our crap in america. 👍 :)


I almost got run over by a london cab. I keep looking to the wrong side when crossing the street. :dunce:

AND- The homestay father has a kit car- A tiger E1 like a lotus 7, too bad we can't go out in it, he's goin to frances on business.

We have rude town names too - I just like the sound of Whaplode Drove. This one might get censored, but we have three towns - one in Orkney, one in Shetland and one in Cornwall - all called "Twatt". I kid you not.

Actually I'm back home in kansas now, after going from England to scotland to wales to ireland, Back to Wales, and then back to Britain to leave this morning. but, I will say that everyone I met in 3 weeks there was very friendly, so thank you. (sorry, I'm tired, I could care less about grammar and punctuation right now) I have to say that I like wales and scotland the best, the view from Edinburgh castle is outstanding. too bad the weather was dreich. damn rain. :( Yes Klos, Austria is very cool. went there last year.
