This is going to be awesome. First game I'll ever buy on release day and maybe the only one I ever do buy on release day. I am super stoked for this.

...

This game came out in June. :odd:

Whoa, this is wierd. This thread somehow got bumped and it wasn't by me, it was the guy above me. But now it's saying that he posted that in January, but earlier it said a few minutes ago! :odd:

Creepier thing: The guy hasn't been on for almost a year.

No, he posted that in January and he hasn't been on since July I ment..

I'm serious about the random bump that made me post "It came out in June".

So...After watching a walkthrough of this game...I can see why it's gotten such horrible reviews. The main problem is, of course, Duke. They didn't change his character at all from what it was in Duke Nukem 3D, although, they game him more lines...which was a REALLY bad idea, because after a while, he just gets annoying. And, because they used the same voice actor...he just sounds like an old, washed up, perverted old man who literally cares more about having sex than saving the world. Seriously, early on in the game, you go and try to save the abducted women before turning your attention to the aliens who are trying to destroy open up a portal to your world to destroy it. And...that wouldn't be so bad...if the game had an original bone it's body...which it doesn't. After 12 years in development, you'd think they'd be able to come up with something original and edgy, but they just stole from or made references to other games and EVERY single time they did so, you just groan and go "Really?" I mean...Bulletstorm seemed much more of what a current Duke Nukem game should be like. DNF (which is funny that DNF is the acronym for it....because I bet there were a lot of people that Did Not Finish this game. Yeah, if you create a video game, it's probably not a good idea for it's acronym to be an acronym for not finishing stuff) seems like how Duke Nukem 3D would've gone if had more modern graphics and technology. If another game did a better job at being you than you did...you fail. Seriously, though, the fancy kills, shooting people in the nuts...all the blood, the aliens, the hot chick, the wise cracking protagonist, the annoying villain...Bulletstorm is a Duke Nukem game....that's better than Duke Nukem. A 1/5.

So you watched a walkthrough... And that somehow gives you the basis for reviewing this game, or any game, for that matter?

Alternative Criticism:

You complain about the game (that, once again, you didn't play) being unfunny and dated, then you make a "Did Not Finish" joke?

Pick one.
