Everyone always talks about earning credits in reference to the career mode, but I was wondering do you earn credits from racing online? If so, how much versus what you earn in career mode? Is it feasible to grind for credits by doing *only* online racing?

Yes, you do. But from reports the ratio of time to winnings is not as fair as in career mode.

You won't get as much credits as carrer mode, but it's a lot more fun.
The best way to get credits is by doing the seasonal events.

Depends, the amount increases significantly for each class (A, IB, IA..)

Oh I see. Cool. I just don't really get off on racing offline against AI anymore. I used to relish in the thought of playing career modes in racing games back then, but online has spoiled me over the years

Well payouts can be in the 100k range with enough login bonus offline. They probably don't reach 50k online.

If you reach max log-on bonus and do the seasonals, the 'GT News' says you can earn up to 6 mill! I'm waiting for my log-on bonus reaches full before I do them!

Online the credits are not very high. With 10 players in the room a win for a 3 lap race gets you around 10,000 credits. I personally find online way more entertaining and rewarding.

I got 10,000 (1st place) credits for an hour's worth of racing with a full house online lobby and that was after 1.02 where credit earnings have been increased.
