Dunlop Championship 2024 - GR.3 - Australia & New Zealand Racing League

G'day Racers, a while back (last year) I made a announcement of a racing competition I was getting prepared to start-up however some things got in the way etc... I then decided to postpone it until this year. Well here it is the Official announcement of my Racing Competition. The Dunlop Championship, a Gr.3 Racing League for Australian & New Zealand Racers, reason for it being only those 2 nations is due to time zones and internet connection reasons. Below I go through the Rules, Regulations, Schedule & Calendar of the Championship.

Car Rules / Regulations :​

• Car must have Dunlop Racing Tyres (See Image below of my car as example)
• Car must be max 850bhp and 850pp.
• No VGT cars allowed.
• Car must be the same car throughout championship, can change liveries & colours but must be same car & racing team name.
• Car must feature at least 1 Dunlop Sponsorship Logo
• Must keep same number on car for championship.
• Must have Hard, Soft, Medium, Wet & Intermediate tyres, Make sure to be prepared for all conditions as weather is chosen on race day.

Championship Standings / Points System : ​

Finishing Placements

1st = 30pts

2nd = 29pts

3rd = 28pts

4th = 27pts

5th = 26pts

6th = 25pts

7th = 24pts

8th = 23pts

9th = 22pts

10th = 21pts

11th = 20pts

12th = 19pts

13th = 18pts

14th = 17pts

15th = 16pts

16th = 15pts



Pole Position = 5pts

Fastest Lap = 5pts

Clean Race = 2pts (No Penalties given during race and no deliberate crashes)

• Points can be deducted for deliberate and unfair racing which will be determined after inspection of replays and reporting from other racers.
• Points can also be given or rewarded for things such as (Having race affected by cheaters, bad sportsman like racing, Internet Issues) these also will be determined by circumstance and replays).

Season Schedule & Race Day Info :​

• Races on Saturdays.
• 20-30 Mins of Practice and 20-30 Mins of Qualifying (Varies depending on Track)
• Grid Start with False Start Check
• Races for Laps.
• Hard, Medium, Soft, Intermediate & Wet Tyres (Changes can occur last minute depending on what needs changing)
• All Races will begin with 50 liters of fuel
• If you need to cancel your race entry please try to announce up to 3 hours before the planned Practice time, Message through group Discord or PSN
• Practice is not mandatory either is Qualifying however I highly suggest you try to do those if you want the best chance of winning the race
• If you have not joined the lobby by the race start time then you will not be allowed to race.
• Race will only go ahead if at least have of the registered grid is racing if not then cancellation will happen and race will be re-scheduled.

*I will be broadcasting to my YouTube channel all races I participate in, I will not be in any voice chat or be recording any ones else's voice. I will also save a replay of the race afterwards to upload a YouTube video later of a broadcast version of the race.

Below is how you would sign-up for the Championship to be a racer. This will be first in based, so if you don't make the final
To be considered for the competition you must register below from now to 24 hours before the First Race. There will be 16 Racers in this competition with me taking 1 of the spots and 2 of my friends taking others, so I will be hoping that 13 others can join.
