Duping Question??

Ok so I hear all these stories bout how people corrupt their main accounts after deleting and restoring them. This has turned me away from trying it..but aster some thinking..could someone tell me if this would avoid corrupting my data??

I have my main account with all my cars and progress. Say I want to dupe a Ferrari..what if I sent the Ferrari to an alternate..then sent it again from the alternate to a second alternate. Then I restored the data on the first alternate..so I have the Ferrari before I gifted it to the second alternate. Then I sent the duped Ferrari from the second alternate to my main..and the other Ferrari from the alternate to my main.

WOuld this avoid corrupting the data on my main account..the one I care about..bc I never deleted and restored THAT data??
 
Duping does not corrupt your data. It's merely propaganda perpetuated by the holy league of ignorant anti-dupers in an effort to make you as miserable as them.

Just back up your main save and keep a copy on your PC just in case the worst happens.
 
Got to agree with Ya Pops. A once a week copy of the backup to my laptop means all I can ever lose is a few cars and a weeks worth of seasonals.
 
Just take back-up every day after a session before you turn the PS3 off... Then you'll never lose anything and it only takes about 15-20 seconds...

i dont delete anything.. just overrite... so your acc won´t be lost if you forgot smth
 
I've had a couple of the car pictures disappear on me, don't know why though. The cars are still there and able to be used, it's just missing the picture in the garage.
