Duping still works with new update..right?

So they limit the cars to under a million credits. If someone wants credits, they can still dupe cars less than a million right? For example, I have the Calsonic GT-R that cost 950,000 credits. I can still dupe that for money, right? I mean sure you won't be getting as much money but in theory, this update doesn't really stop duping.

Correct. After March 3rd, you cannot dupe any of the 94 cars with an internal value above 1 million credits. Duping will still be entirely possible though, just not with those cars.
 
Would you be able to dupe (or trade) an Enzo after the update does anyone know? It's price is exactly 1,000,000

Copy your data, send a car, reload the old data and the car you sent is still there.

duplicating a car so you have two of them.

No, the car value that determines duping is NOT the price, but an internal value not shown. It is somewhere between 101 and 102% of the price of the car in the UCD and premium dealerships, which explains why cars below 1 million cr. will also be prohibited from being traded.

Those cars most likely will be able to be duped since 102% of their value is still below 1 million credits. Because of a loophole, F1 cars and the FGT can be duped as well, but you must have the proper tools to do so.
 
nevermind, i did the math. If what Blitz24 says is true, then the Super GT cars go up to 969,000 credits. Still eligible for duping.

do u guys have the same problem. After i dup a car the orignal car in my garage i cant see the little picture of it after in my garage?
 
Put cursor on the car in question, press triangle and select 'create thumbnail'.
 
They limited the number of time you can gift a car from one console too. I gifted my 2nd account a gt academy 370z and was going to send it back to my main account. it says Ive reached my daily limit. So there now limiting everything after use the community spend 60-120 dollars for this game...
 
If you sell the car get the $950,000 and then reload the game you are back to having the car and minus the $950,000 you gained so it's really no use.


Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

First of all you cannot sell anything that expensive, most expensive car you can sell if F40 and gives 125k (or was it 140K) back.

How it works if you backup your save, buy something, send it and then reload. So you have your money and have sent the car. As it is now, you can send it back from the secondary account the following day (save->send->restore) and keep a copy there or if you have enough money on your secondary, you can save ->buy->send directly from there to the main account.

Another option is to save->buy->send to friend->restore and then they send it back.

In a nutshell, you cannot dupe without sending.
 
That I understand, but it's too long a process, though it works.
