I tried posting this in another thread, but it got locked before I even hit Submit.
So, for all you GT5-apologists complaining about the "hundreds of threads whining about the same thing", tell GTPlanet to stop locking threads and you won't have so many.

This post is not a rant. Polyphony Digital doesn't owe me anything. GT5 was a great game! I definitely got my $59.95 out of it. The March 3 patch doesn't make GT5 a bad game. I just want to make a simple statement which I think is true:

Duping/trading was a player-made "patch" to fix the broken money system in GT5. PD is now going to patch the player-made fix and re-break the money problem on March 3rd.

Many players (like me) play the GT series to collect the cars. I'm not even any good at driving in these games! I just love collecting the beautiful, rare cars!

Again, even with the money problems, GT5 is a great racing game! But some of us get our enjoyment out of collecting, and on Thursday, my copy of GT5 goes on the "used" shelf at GameStop until PD figures out a way for players to purchase an expensive car without spending 13 hours driving 900 laps making left-turns on the Indy course.

Thank you for GT5! I had a blast! Peace!
