okay first of all hi guys..

okay I bought the gigaworks s750 system after harping abt it for sometime. Anyway I have read in some reviews that the system doesn't last very long.. is this true? Has it happened to any of U guys? How is its durability? Will I be able to use it for a long time coz I spent alot of hard earned cash on these puppies? Help!!

The other thing is I haven't been able to test it out properly yet and I have it set-up to my DVD player with all analog signals (center/sub, front L/R, Rear L/R). Okay the control pod has seven volume LEDs right? and I have to max it out to the sixth LED(just one below the seventh LED).This is only for movies not for audio CD content. Shouldn't 700 watts of power be able to fill my room easily without me having to almost max out the system? How much volume do U guys have it on while watching movies.

700 watts is plenty of power, unless your room is a 400 foot long concert hall.

Check and compare your sources. If you're watching DVD's, your player might be sending uber-weak audio signals. Try others.

Also, check that your audio formats are in sync.

Okay I'll check it out. Maybe my DVD Player doesn't have enough power to power up these puppies.

Btw, how long have you been using ur system Omnis? Coz lots have complained abt the system failing after some time.. let me know.
Thanks.

I don't have one, so I can't help you there. Creative is a big company though. If you have problems, call them.

Thanx Omnis,Is there someone who owns this system and who has been using it for sometime without any problems or with problems. Would be great help if U guys can be a few pointers before I go set it up at my place.
Thanx.
