Okay, I have a DVD that has a concert on it and I want the audio from each of the songs performed into MP3 audio format. What would be the easiest way to convert DVD video to MP3 audio?

(Not that it may matter, but rep to the one who can tell me how the best way! :))

This may or may not work, depending on your sound card. I'm also assuming that your computer is capable of playing this DVD.

Open up the sound properties (double-click the speaker in the system tray in the lower-righthand corner), and select "properties" from the "options" menu. Click the "Recording" bullet and make sure Wave/MP3 has a check next to it. Click "OK" and make sure the "select" checkmark at the bottom of the main window is on Wave/MP3.

Next, choose your favorite sound-recording software (you may want to try to find something a bit more complex than the Microsoft Sound Recorder), hit "Record," play the concert in whatever Media Player you use, and let your computer sit there and record what you want! :)

If your recording program will only save .wav files, find an MP3 encoder to convert the .wav file into an MP3, and then you're done! :)

The only ones I'm seeing on download.com will set you back at least $20. Hopefully Wolfe2x7 way will work for you.

You can do it with Adobe Audition. You can get a Free Trial on the Adobe site.
