DVD's with MP3's...The possibilities!

Have they made any at all dvd players that can play a dvd filled with MP3's?

While at it, does anyone know of any type of dvd player that goes into your car that can play mp3s...1000 songs on one dvd (depending on quality of mp3s)

could you imagine that your library of cds would turn into a handful (or a couple depending on the size of your library) of dvds to conviently (sp?) tote around

just sticking a dvd into your car and playing 50 or so hours on one dvd?! (these are conservative numbers with high quality bitrate mp3s by the way)

so tell me...is there anything like it? and when there is...tell me what yer gonna do and how much you'll love it :)

MP3 Player? They can plug into most stereos AFAIK and you could probably get an attachment to plug into your car stereo. I know you can get one of those cassette tape converter things and also an FM transmitter.
 
eh, im talking like a dvd with 1000 songs, 50 hours of music....all on one single dvd you can put into your cd player and have it play

now tell me would that not be awesome? you could just carry all your music in a cd holder that goes on your visor :) (if you really got a bunch of music, use the passenger visor too :))
 
We have a combo DVD / VHS player in the bedroom - crappy quality, but it accepts DVDs with MP3s...

Not that we use it though....
 
There are a few car stereos that will do it (JVC is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are others) ...
