Today im going to be reviewing Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.50 Free Edition! This a type of antivirus of which cannot real-time scan but otherwise packs a big punch in detecting malware, rootkits and spyware!

This is the scan part of the software where you can choose from Quick Scan, Full Scan or Flash Scan lets break it down and talk about each individually.

Quick Scan: Most of the time this is all you need when removing viruses from your PC. This will detect most of the viruses that your regular anti virus will miss. This will detect and remove many deadly viruses such as the Koobface worm and Most Fake AV's!

Full Scan: This is for when you know you have a virus that the quick scan will not detect... This will without a doubt find that virus and remove it!

Flash Scan: Only available in the full version!

This shows what the full version gets you. This is not a replacement to your current anti virus but more of an add-on that packs a punch! It will be not conflict with most anti virus (it will with AVG) and in the Free version there is no real time scanning just scan and find the viruses! You can update it but you can't make it update automatically on the Free version.. Also there is no Support available for the Free version!!

The very good thing about Malwarebytes is that theres at least 2 updates a day... This means that it knows how to detect many of the latest viruses and Fake AV which compared to most anti-virus is very speedy..! It is because the staff are working around the clock on only one product which means that the Software will be amazing at detecting all the viruses on the PC!

This where all the Viruses that Malwarebytes go to be deleted/removed not really much else to say here other than once a virus gets in here its Not getting out anytime soon!

This is were all the logs of each scan go this will tell you how many malicious items it found, how long the scan took and how many objects it scanned. Each scan takes up much RAM while it goes on so I wouldn't run any other programs at the same time...

These are the settings on which you can change to change Malwarebytes to your personal needs... There are many settings to choose from here such as detailed scan settings, a few update settings and alot of general settings! Unfortunately the Schedule settings are only available on the full version..!

This is about Malwarebytes and all the Legal information!

Likes:
Strong Virus Detection
Many Updates
Easy to use Interface
Great Product for free

Dislikes:
No real time protection

Final Verdict:
If you want to get a more reliable Anti virus you should download this and keep your current Anti virus... DO NOT REPLACE YOUR CURRENT ANTI VIRUS UNLESS YOU ARE GETTING THE FULL VERSION OF MALWAREBYTES this will help get rid of of viruses you never even knew were there in the first place

Great review!!! :) I bought it a while back and I've never regretted it since. Once I payed for it the real time protection has done a excellent job at blocking and deleting certain things my anti virus doesn't detect. This + ESET Smart Security 4 = Clean computer :D

Sounds like you have a vested interest in Malwarebytes to be honest.

Not really its just compared to other anti-viruses its just more powerful... this and Rkill would mean Fake AV is just blitzed... all the Fake AV removal videos that I have seen say to download malwarebytes to clean the PC from the virus (on all the Fake AV that don't block program execution..! And also i'm using Avast as well and I will do a review of Avast in the future..

Thank you and I'm quite surprised that the real time protection of both Full Mbam and ESET don't collide with each other..

In what way is it more powerful than other Virus Scanners? Especially compared to Microsoft Security Essentials, which offers real-time protection and updates for free?

What does the Quick Scan do specifically and technically differently on this software, that 'will pick up things other quick scans miss'?

Aye, do you take requests? If you do, I'd like to see you review the hit game Angry Birds.

If not, it's okay, looking forward to more of your reviews. :)

Don't know how, or why, but it is. Whenever a customer get's a virus, i put mbam on there and it sorts it out. The latest version of mbam kind of has automatic updates, when you open it, it will say "your database is x days out of date, click ok to update". Whenever a customer has got a fake AV, their antivirus has not been able to get rid of it. Be it McAffee, Norton, Sophos or AVG (most common AV's with my customers) it just doesn't seem to detect it. mbam + superantispyware will sort just about any infection (sometimes combofix is needed to finish the job). Also the paid version does have realtime protection.

Mbam is the mutts nuts, I can vouch for that.

EDIT: Be careful with combofix - it's the cut and shut car recovery program for windows. If you absolutely need to use combofix to repair your OS, I suggest doing so then backing up all data/files you need before wiping the OS and going for a fresh install. Don't get me wrong, combofix has saved my bacon many times (rescuing my dev PC on more than one occasion) but I would never recommend it to Joe Public. While it can rescue a broken OS, it can also cripple it beyond recovery if misused.

👍 It definitely seems to take care of stuff that no other antivirus or antispyware can.

Sometimes I think maybe they are the ones who make those fake AV viruses to push more of their product hahah.

Angry Birds I played that on Android, iPhone and PC which version do you want me to review?

Most of the time I will not be making requests because I'm not very comfortable putting software I want actually want on my pc!

iPhone will do, PC version is okay too but I dunno if you also got the full version there.

I think it does come with real-time protection. They offered a trial a while back and it worked extremely good.

Impressive, good review for a great program.

Combofix like Spunwicked has said can really be hit or miss. Some times it works well, other times you end up having to rebuild the machine becasue something went badly wrong. I've seen it blue screen domain servers as well which isn't the best thing to have happen in a work enviroment!

I have used Combofix and so far it works well, but really, I didn't know that it would be this unpredictable.

There is a trial for the full version which has real time protection! But after the trial the real time protection is gone

Combofix should only be used in important occasions where it is really needed the same also goes for Rkill

Angry Birds is available on almost any platform you can think of (from the modern era) today I am going to review it on the Google chrome browser for Windows, Mac and Linux! Its basically the same as all other versions of angry birds which means this is a Multi-Platform review! Lets Go!

The game starts out with your birds in a dilemma as their eggs are missing! They quickly see that some greedy pigs stole their eggs! The unhappy birds seek their revenge and get their eggs again! This is where the game starts!

BPjm4.png

The goal here is to slingshot the angry birds into the area where the pigs are and hit them to kill them!
65dMq.png

There are usually surroundings protecting the pigs (which are green) which usually can be knocked down by the birds the crush the enemys! This is the best way to kill the pigs in my experience!
CTgd5.png

Levels will get harder as you progress through the game. The pigs become more protected by more surroundings making it harder for the birds to kill/crush then.... But to help you there are extra aids.

8Q8ks.png

In some levels there are TNT to help to demolish the structures and kill the pigs. It will also blow away rocks to crush pigs or leave the pigs vulnerable!

OcFCt.png

Each bird gets its own special ability (except the red one) The black one can make an explosion either when its flying or when it lands!
04kQI.png

The blue bird can multiply itself (x3) while flying although each blue bird isn't that powerful but compined they pack a huge punch!! The yellowbird gets a speed boost when you want it too which is very handy most times!
NwvYE.png

The white birds drop eggs which acts like a type of bomb which blows up the structure much like the black bird!

Not for a hardcore gamer

Final Verdict:
You remember that game on the Nokia phones so long ago well I like to think of this a modern version of it. No the story/gameplay isn't the same but think of it... no other game since snake has been this popular on mobile devices. Both games are fun are addictive. I recommend this to all iPhone and Android users but I assume most people already have it and enjoy it! Here is my final score for angry birds

I've tried it before on a free offer but I removed it 15 minutes later. It's too repetitive for me to care about.

Thats odd on a portable console that would have better graphics abilities than the iPhone O_o
Graphic capabilities are irrelevant if a company is too lazy to actually port a game properly to work well on a portable console.
