- "Coolest" car
- Most aesthetically beautiful (might not work with repeats)
- Best choice of wheel for that blue Murcie

I like Cano's suggestion of awards per body style.

This is a lot of awards being suggested here. I'd say only a handful to avoid cheapening the value of actually getting one. We also don't want to see 2 or 3 members cleaning up almost all of the categories.

yeah, We could have everyone getting one or just doug rue and cano getting one at the minute!
Me and Joey will discuss which categories will be finally included in the lineup before the end of next week.

Rue
My, does time fly!

:0 amazing, it looks incredible with the black wheels... one wonders why every Ferrari has to be red when you look at this.

And the category for best wheels on the blue murci HAS to happen. It's a classic.

If there are any more categories you would like to nominate, please do. Nominations will stop being taken into consideration on Thursday evening.

Just a couple more.

Since we have from time to time a great dealer spot I think a category should be made with that in mind for all regions. Also a "Best Spot at a Motorsports Event" as I know quite a few spots come from there as well.

We also need a name for the awards, I thought "Cammies" but apparently there is already some music award named that. So how about the "Spotties"?

Oh and here is where we are to start, since time zones differ so much I think we can make an exception and have awards for photos that were posted on 31 Dec 07.

That's a couple hundred pages.

Heh, wish I could enter some of my shots from 24th December. :( That was the only time I had a camera with me and had a good day spotting cars in Singapore......

Haha! Yes, and I saw the first new GTR of the thread on Xmas day. Never mind...

I thought I had a chance to win that best dealer spot trophy with my
SLR McLaren cabrio, but I think Rue will win it with his Lexus IF or with his
carbon Zonda or Zonda's. :)

I didnt see Rue's Zonda!?!?!
At a motorsport event, does that mean that my public car park Zonda f (red) and my Zonda and ccx from the other car park will be merged into the same category?

I think 'at a motorsport event' should count as cars on display, not cars in public car parks :) Thats just me trying to save my own ass.

I was thinking more of cars at the event itself, like the Nobel I saw at an autocross last year.

Ah cool, do you have Messenger? If so could you PM it to me so we could discuss running the competition faster? :)

I don't, but I can get something once I get home and on my desktop (I'm at the university right now). Just let me know which one you prefer to use.

I didnt see Rue's Zonda!?!?!

I did see two black Zonda F Roadsters parked nose to nose but they were in a garage and I unfortunately couldn't get a picture of them.

Ah yes, it'l be this one:

owned by a famous entertainer / singer / possibly actor apparently.

Aaron Kwok's Zonda you mean? The ones I saw were unregistered at the time. There are a few different versions of the Zonda around HK, but I haven't seen one in the wild... yet!

It's only a matter of time, I dont know how many there are in the UK, but I've come into contact with 5 F's alone! (1 of them allowed for DYSAGT)

I guess you can tell which one was in the car park.
The other 3 were at MPH. Am I right in saying we are the only 2 posters in DYSAGT to have seen a Zonda in the wild? (Doug saw the c9 prototype)

Does anyone remember the thread where the 3 guys went on a tour of Ferrari, Pagani and Lamborghini? I cant find that thread anywhere! While they were there, the red zonda above was pictured in the factory.

i wish id submitted more to the thread now lol, many spots i dint bother posting
stratos zero was me fav spot however :sly:
some should get an award just for being so dedicated :D

Heh, you wouldn't believe it if I told you but my cousin's friend's father/uncle actually own a Zonda in Malaysia. My cousin showed me the picture of him on Myspace and his father/uncle (forgot who) in a gas station filling up that Zonda.....

Yeah, there are many rich people out there I don't know of....... :(

Final categories, imo:

- Overall Spotter of the Year
- Overall Spot of the Year (voted with your head - what car is truly deserving?)
- People's Choice (voted with your heart - what car/photo do YOU really love? - this could get complicated with the nominees)
- American Spot & Spotter of the Year (includes all Americas)
- European Spot & Spotter of the Year
- Asian/Oceanic Spot & Spotter of the Year
- Rarest Spot (based on production numbers; overall and/or per region)
- Best Photography (single photo; this category's a 'maybe', as I think there'd be only a couple nominees)
- Best Classic Spot (pre-1970) or Best 20th Century Spot (I think there are some '80s and '90s cars that are now worthy of the "Classic" title - Dac_Xint's HF Integrale, for instance)
- Oddest/Saddest/Funniest Spot

No dealer or event categories, as that's not what this topic is really about.

I like that Cyborg. I can see us making some slight adjustments to tackle the sheer amount of photos, but we ain't gonna be handing em out like candy.

Wow, those are my two favorite Zonda's I've seen (one in real life one on the internet). Great stuff, cheers mate 👍

da dood on da forumz
At the time I was there, they were working on two... which I can't reveal their names (let's just say it was a big shot business man and a big sports star)

It'd be interesting to see who owns which.
