E-brake on permanently (DS3)

Doesn't matter if it's online or offline but, for some reason, whenever I enter the track, the e-brake switches on and stays on so the car just grinds to a halt. No amount of button remapping changes it and it's with any car/track combo.

Has anyone else encountered this and/or have any ideas about how to possibly fix it?
 
Use a different controller. Check your button map.
 
Same result....oddly, it all works fine on my second account, just not my main one :/

Edit; well it looks like it's fixed. I just went with the default buttons for the settings and the e-brake isn't on when I hit the track now :)
