Hello people, I have a question for those of you who have modded E-brakes for use on PC and or PS3.
I have a G-27 shifter I bought on Ebay for the purpose of making a button box/Ebrake for PC and PS3.
I'm going to cut the box part of the shifter away from the shifter and use that as a button box. Now I know that the O button mod from chilicoke will let you hook up a real E-brake to it.
My question is once I cut away the PCB and shroud, how do I connect the wire from the O button to the E-brake? I've been searching and can't find anything showing how to actually do it.
Second, the G27 has a serial connector or what looks to be a serial connector. Is there a converter that will let me use this as a USB device to become a button box. Will the PC see it as a USB device I can assign buttons to?
