I found this thing advertised in my Yahoo mailbox today. Apparently, Forbes is saying that they'll store your message for 1-20 years and send it back to you. Now...I don't think that there's anyone that's actually kept an e-mail account for 20 years, especially given that e-mail hasn't been around all that long and that people change screen names like socks. But....anyone wanna give it a try? I may try the 1 or 3 year option, since I know I'll have my college e-mail account for the next 3 years.
 
Nah - I'll just write a message down on a bit of paper and stick it in the attic. Won't be seeing that again for at least a decade.

Wow, I could send a random person crap emails with this without them knowing who I am.

Ohh they'll be angry 12-36 months from now.

Email adresses come and go. I though gmail was the end all for a little while but now others are stepping up so I may consider jumping ship in the next year. Plus my college's email system sucks so I try my hardest to avoid using it.
 
if you want to do that then just get a gmail account and never delete them. i havent deleted one email since ive had it and i havent even used 1% yet.

And you know your account won't get de-activated or password lost, either.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I recently found a 1TB storage email service, but it doesn't seem to work on a mac. :indiff:
 
2GB's enough for me, but if you wanna store MP3's and stuff well...
