So news should start piling in from now on. You will be able to get it hot of the presses from the usual outlets (engadget/joystiq/gizmodo/kotaku).

I'm hoping for.....

- Shifters from both Fanatec & Thrustmaster
- A wheel to make me regret my T500RS purchase from Fanatec
- More cockpits.

What else are folk looking forward too?

Well Thomas has answered your questions. You will get all 3! I can't wait to see the pics and news start to roll out from e3!

Also, if this pics hold true, an interchangeable wheel with usb connects for system controller functions is PURE GENIUS! Looks like the GT2 will be hitting the ebay block next year! My only pet peeve with the wheels now is the rims are toooooo small & buttons on the wheel itself. Having a usb connect for the controller instead of buttons on the wheel is how it SHOULD be. When you race on weekends, it feels weird going from a car to the GT2.

When is the fanatec e3 press conference? I'm pumped.

Yes Thomas, when are you doing your thing?

Ps. Claudia sending out new g27 adapter tomorrow.

Thanks.

Did you suffered too much?, now The Hell seems to start for me...

Think I'm losing something in translation mate.

I would rather not derail the thread.
PM me if you want.

I'm hoping Twisted Metal PS3 will give a firm release date plus confirm wheel compatibility for my wheel (t500rs). Still not certain if Twisted Metal: Black had logitech wheel compat though. I suddenly have the urge to shoot down other players rather then race alongside them in peace

the CSP pedals are excellent. I'm interested to see what the clubsport shifter is like.

haha you're being really optimistic about that release date. I would keep your GT2 just in case the new wheel is DoA when you get it.

My son & wife are showing interest in using my t500rs out of the blue now :scared:

I will probably be in the market for another wheel eventually

Well regards Exhibitors at the show Thrustmasters Booth is OFMR8213
Fanatec/Endor do not have a booth so their own show presence is likely to be happening at a pre arranged "Presentation Event".

You can currently search the whole E3 floor for Brands/Product Type etc via their floor planner application on the official website.
Nothing comes up for Endor/Fanatec as a brand or in hardware/simulation/accessories as a product but their are references for Thrustmaster in all those.

It would be nice to see Fanatec steel the Thunder from Thrustmaster but to an extent I read Thomas recent comments thanking/mentioning Thrustmaster on their T500RS on his blog with a hint of smugness kinda like "congratulations but anything you can do we can do better" but thats just how I read it as being a possibility...

So round 1 to Thrustmaster? People seem genuinely excited over their shifter teaser pic:

(thanks muzaffar)

And no news as yet from Fanatec.

Looks good, Fanatec's is supposed to look very similar going by what I've heard. Gated, 7+1, stuff of the likes.

Fanatec forgot to train and has ran out wind getting to the ring. Fight over Thrustmaster wins. Even if it was not better it is. It has customer service. Something Fanatec FAILS at. Miserably.

Anyone know how to het a hold of Fanatec?

My buddy buys their top shelf pedal and wheel. Less then a month later wire break at pot sensor on gas. Break at solder joint. Terrible design to allow solder joints a chance at flex. They break duh!

So I fixed the clutch on he moved over. Which worked for a bit. But it also broke a wire. As mentioned I got this one fixed for him after a two week wait and not one response from Fanatec

So if Fanatec is out there. Please respond to paid customers.

I can tell you right now. This ain't resolved with in two weeks. I will post my story on every forum known to man.

You will see an effect. Trust me.

Also anyone on the fence. Go with Thrustmaster. Or G27. Never had issues with either items I owned. Glad this aint my junk sitting. Got league races to do and after missing two. I might be insane.

webshop.usa@endor.ag & e-support@fanatec.com first off. Secondly, if you need to contact support. Go to their site and look. I myself had a shaky experience my first time around, but found the ways to go about getting a hold of them properly.

Calm down, do as told. You will get what you want. Just have some patience. (I can't believe, I myself just said that, a person with little or no patience)

We tried for three or four weeks now!!!!

Also tried calling the Endor company. Left messages. No calls back. Nothing.

Patience? Those went out the window when the second junk pot broke a wire last week.

My biggest reason for being upset is I recommended this wheel to him from reviews here. Really really should of pushed him into a T500 or even the G27. He'd still be racing with us. :(

Biggest reason for posting in this thread seems the owner of Fanatec has time to post here but no time to take care of customers. So maybe a lil mud in his eye might wake his butt up!

They take a long long time to reply... I know from my own experience. If they do not reply, simply send them another e-mail, I have emailed them many many times and I have received a few replies...

I have gotten a pm contact. Here is hoping we can get this resolved.

Buddy is excited to hear we gotten contact from Fanatec.

He is actually looking into the new wheel. However the customer service may sway him into another unit.

If this is made right shortly. He prob buy the rumored wheel when released. :)

^^ hope your buddy will be back on the track soon, mate :)

And where is the fanatec contender?

Round 1: Monday morning the prize went to Thrustmaster
Round 2: Goes to Fanatec

Come on TM at least give more detail about the shifter :ouch:

Looking forward to reading comparisons between the new elite Fanatec vs TM500RS. 👍

but that might take many months...

I can't believe we haven't had press releases from both companies today, detailing all their products in full. All this hunting for dribs and drabs of information is ridiculous.

Dear TM & Fanatec, please release the following information ASAP

What your new products are. (you know this)
When the will be released. (you can estimate if you do not know)
The price. (you must have a fairly good idea, right?)
The specs. (surely you have these?)

it's not that hard right? Or am I missing something?

Damn still nothing.

If Thrustmaster have something there then its likely now that its behind closed doors.

Is it worth considering the silence is because of them doing another exclusive with someone, "Inside Sim racing" again perhaps?
