I really expect alot from this next E3.... but have no input so far on what PD may announce...

I'm sure will have a lot of news... still 2 months

Sorry for creating a new post for that but I thought that if someone already have inputs or feelings about that... this may be usefull... Has PD already confirmed their participation ? nothing is specified on the E3 web site...

Will someone from GTP attend to E3 '04 ? this could be nice to have someone who could follow this event and report GT news directly ... or even interview them !!! (ok I dream !!!)

OK why not...

So if you have comments.. let's gooooo..

I hope theres SOME news or screens of GT4 at E3.Of late things have been very scarce.Shurely PD must be there to make some sort of apperance..Lets hope.

I'm betting it will be the big game of the show. Along with MGS3: Snake Eater.

I have a feeling both will be coming out at the same time. November.

You're more then right. GT4, MGS3 and - don't forget - KillZone, will be three biggest PS2 games ever announced.

All of three are coming out around November, all of three have the online support (GT4 and KillZone for multiplayer and content, MGS3 for downloading various in-game contetns such as camos, weapons...) and all three will kick the butt out of the competition.

E3 2004 is a place to be.

Killzone is out already, well here in Australia it is?

What about the new GTA game, I thought that was in the top 3. Anyway, I hope to see new cars and tracks at E3, I'll cross my fingers for ferrari. They might tell us they got the rights, man I'll cry  I also hope to see the pitcrew in motion and if PD has made the crowds 3d like it said in the Fed PSM, I would like to see. E3 is going to be good and killzone is not out.

You're right..

Who will get Live or buy PS2 Hard drive if no interresting game is out ???

Do not forget that PS3 is not so far away !!!!

How to end PS2 life cycle without letting other platforms the lead over the market !!!!

Marketing world ....

I really wonder if GT4 is not already ready but kept in boxes for marketing reasons... ? which may also allow PD to improve it !!!

I think Driv3r, which should be available just after E3, will probably get more attention than San Andreas, which will be further off and initially only PS2.

no, your thinking of Kill.Switch

They better have some good stuff at E3, if not before that. I'm glad to see new screens, but they have only been coming out about once every 2 months, and they're not much different than previous screenshots. I'm hoping for some really sweet in game screenshots with a whole bunch of new cars from this "500+ car list" and also the new tracks as mentioned before. I know it takes patience, but i haven't really seen any new info since GT4P came out...except for the support of the Hard drive. oh, one quick question....I'm guessing the HDD goes where the online adapter goes on the PS2....so how will we be able to use both? or is there an online thing built into the HDD?? Thanks for the input.

The HDD is to be installed inside the PS2's expansion bay, while the Network Adapter is to be installed outside the expansion bay (i.e. on the back of the machine, outside the shell.) The NA is also HDD compatible, so it can be installed along with the HDD, and neither of them requires the other peripheral to be fully functional.

Alright sweet...thanks a lot for the info. I though i had heard that the Network Adapter came on the HDD, so i would have wasted 40 bucks on an adapter if i got the HDD...but that's not the case. Thanks a lot

Well, I'll be going again. The only problem is that you'll be getting the news faster from one of the big game news outlets faster than me.

But when E3 rolls around, I'll try to check the boards. If anyone has questions that can't be answered from one of the many news sources, I'll be glad to take a deeper look for you.

Ahh, E3... the gateway to games of the future. Much like how the Tokyo show was for mostly Japan-only games. One such example is like that Sega thing that makes old Sega games in true 3D. But as X-Play's Adam Sessler said:

"...there's a catch. THEY'RE NOT PLANNING TO BRING IT TO THE US YET."

As far as PD goes with their GT4 project, it will mean that the media will take as many pictures as they can, the websites will upload pictures to their websites, words will be recorded on tape, maybe even an exclusive DVD will be made featuring exclusive interviews and sneak peeks. For now, the show is in May. When I seen GT4 on TV last year, I was so freaking amazed. GT4's progress in May, however will be...

I've got a digital camera, but only a Hi-8 videocam. I don't think the resolution would come out that great.

But I suppose I'll invest in a monopod and take requests of games that people want to see. If I have time, I'll get eveything I can.

I remember a couple of years ago, I forgot my camera in my hotel room and ended up at the Sony party where Outkast was performing. :banghead: But I managed to get some blurry shots of Smash Mouth from a E3 party last year. :)
