an interesting read from way back prior to the release of the ps2, amazingly they seemed to have known about the eyetoy back then (1998 i think) tho im not sure wwf in your kitchen came about :lol:, scanned in from gamesmaster

yeh i was flicking through my folder of bits cut out of mags, after a year or so i sort through my mags and chuck out loads otherwise id have huge pile but the interesting parts i save :D
 
I liked my Dreamcast although the memory card batteries would always go flat.

Actually the Dreamcast was way ahead of its time. It would have done much better if Sega would have had atleast half way decent advertisment.
 
Well, I'm glad the PS2 doesn't look like they though it would. I don't like the concept design from that magazine. Looks uber weird...
 
Dreamcast memory cards did suck, twice i had my data corupted on them. Dreamcast was a head of its time since nothing else out side of Model 3 could match it graphic wise.

The biggest dissapointment for me about PS2 hype was the downloadable games and movies. HDD never took off and there was no online service like the said there would be.
