Earning money for cars and tuning

Hi all

First I do not know where this should be posted. So apologies. I know allot of people have different views on hacking or glitches but for me, I am a family man and I only have Friday and Saturday nights Sunday if I'm lucky to go on ps3.

So please no moaning. But I used the original £20 mill to buy almost all the cars before it was patched.
All I wanted then was to use the glitch to tune the cars. I have manage to tune a third of them.

I haven't got the luxury of spending hours redoing the same race to earn money as all I am interested in is racing at different pp in online races.

I have seen people use hacking on YouTube for credits. Is it difficult? Is it safe as do not want to get banned? But I refuse (even if I had hundreds of pounds in real money) to spend £40 on credits.

What other way can I get credits quickly?

Have not managed in any of the gt's to buy all the cars and have them tuned. I doubt I will for gt6 but it would be nice. At least gt5 could 'rubberband'.

No haters. This is my feeling about gaining credits. Would like advice not moaning.

Getting credits to tune cars is not very hard at all as it does not cost all that much to tune a car unless you are one of those that wants to buy every part available for each car then it is a bit costly but still within reason.

In order to properly tune a car you need to test drive it quite a bit, you can easily do this is most cars by running a race in career mode with them and then use the winnings to buy the parts you need.

@imported_Grimlock213, I feel your pain! I can't stand the credit grind :(

The best way I've found to earn credits in GT6 is to do the seasonals, and "Like the Wind". They key is making sure you have your login bonus at max. Even though you can only play a few days a week, is there any way you can log on each day, even for just a second, to keep the login bonus up to date? I realize it's a huge pain in the ass, and one of those things PD should be slapped for, but it's what we have to work with :banghead:

If you've already started working on your car collection, you should be able to do most of the seasonals without spending too many credits.

The most profitable seasonals are when the new VGTs come out. And typically, the higher the PP requirement, the higher the payout.

The other good way to farm credits is to do "Like the Wind" over and over again. On SSR7 or SSRX, you make about 150,000 Cr per win with max login bonus. Don't worry about using a crazy expensive racecar, almost any car that can reach 240+ mph can win these events. The fastest cars you go against hit their limiters around 220mph...just need to be faster than that.

A race usually takes about 5 min, depending on the car you use. I try to do this event at least once or twice each time I play GT6, which keeps my Cr sufficiently high. Again, a pain in the ass, but it's sort of the cost of doing business in the GT6 world lol.

Run the Silverstone race in the RB Standard cutting corners like a thief.

Look it up on YouTube to see the places you can cut. I've done it in 3:35 for 260,000cr.

Hey, I beat it fair and square the first time but in grinding there is no honor or moral conduct as far as I am concerned.

Wait ...so in one sentence you mention "cutting corners like a thief". And then in the last you mention "honor and moral conduct" ...wot? In real life I am a programmer and I feel like a compiler that has just hit an infinite loop ...

And unfortunately I have to grind for my credits ...offline. No bonuses or big online TT payouts. For my credits I am forced to do the stuff that lacks "honor and moral conduct" and that is to grind for my credits. Funny how life forces you to do the same as far as work is concerned ...

I think you should read his post again.

Yes I said there is NO honor or moral conduct.

And depending on the language it's not the compliler that gets stuck in an infinite loop it's the running code that does that. A compliler will just fail or error out because it's not actually executing the loop. That doesn't mean it will alert you to the problem you'll have when you try to run said inifnite loop in the code though ;) Trust me :banghead:

People said it was no fun when you did the money glitch, but I found the game a lot more enjoyable with a hundreds of cars in my inventory already, so I could just focus on racing instead of grinding to buy the cars I want.
