To buy really expensive LeMans cars and old racers like the XJ13?

So far, the quickest way is simply to keep doing the American Championship over and over again for 98,000 credits but is there a better way?

Note: I don't do B-Spec and I only play offline.

That quite much breaks it for you - there is no better way unless you do B-spec or play online.

XJ13 is a prize car so you don't have to worry about that...

American Indy is the best in terms of money but it requires you to always be looking at the screen. If you want more xp you can do dream car Indy with the x2010 using the rubberband trick. This gives the most xp/min and about 10 000 less credits per race than the american champ indy. If you don't have an x2010 check if someone on your friends list is sharing one. The ruberband trick allows you to be away from the playstation.

But really, you should do B-Spec grinding. Put your B-Spec drivers up so they're shared. Type B-Spec grinder on google and click the first result. Do whatever it says.

Looks like I'll just have to do the American Championship another 35 times before I can buy a 787B although the R10 and 908 are quite a bit cheaper.

I don't suppose you win the XJ13, Miura, TZ2, Mark IV etc on any of the A-Spec races? Will have to do the AC around 200 times to earn enough money to buy an XJ13 :crazy:
 
BTW, when does the Red Bull Challenge become available? Lv. 30?

Yep.

XJ13 is unlockable from the Indy 500 A-spec race. You can also get a X2010 by getting to level 35 on B-spec

I just despise B-Spec. I've honestly tried to give it a chance but I find it boring and frustrating. Don't you win the X2010 if you get all bronze on the SV challenge?

Yep. For bronze, you get the S. Vettel livery, for silver, you get the solid color painted livery in a random color and for gold you get the naked carbon livery.
 
Seasonal event on Eifel in Lightweight K class gives you 100000 in 3 minutes.
Best money maker.

Try B-Spec after you've done almost all the the A-Spec events. You'll have all the proper cars for the events, and to make it really easy, pick a hot driver and tune your cars so they're ~100 HP over the fastest competitor, and you'll win with ease.
 
I've been doing the lambo seasonal. The Nurb GT race pays out just short of 160k for 5 laps. Pretty good grind.
 
Not really 'cause lap times are kinda slow on the Nurb GP...

... In comparison with other tracks.
 
Best way are the seasonals actually. K cup seasonal eifle track takes about 3 mins and gets you 100k. In an hour of driving its about 1.8 million with load times and such.

Next is likely la sarthe in the french seasonal, depending on car about 4 1/2 mins for 120k.

Then there is also american championship indy or the like the wind indy.

Bolded is what gives you the best amount of money at the moment.
 
Since you don't have the X2010 yet your best bet is the American Championship race on Indy in A-spec. Roughly 100,000 credits in 5 minutes is ok, but you need to connect to the Internet to your PS3 if you want better money makers.

I do the online B spec racing with the Yahoo widget. I wake up each morning and usually have 500,000-600,000 credits if other people are also using the widget. Worst case scenario, I'll still have 200,000 credits from my own racer. It's nice to bank about 800,000-1m credits each day with the online racing.

Jag is won at Indy a spec. You could get the mark IV with a level 21 ticket (win extreme series), or any of them with the birthday ticket trick.

B spec is your best way to earn $, especially the endurance races and remote races. Or better yet get online and do the seasonals--100K+ in 3 minutes!
 
Seriously, it is a pain in the @$$ to get the money to buy the cars you want.
FORGET about the possibility to get 2 of the same expensive cars you like to have one tuned and the other one stock. PLEASE PD fix these problems!
 
I wonder when those dummies at PD will make an event that would offer enough XPs to cut down in grinding for lvl up. After lvl 30 GT5 looks more than a time waster than game.

They won't fix it as they likely don't see it as a problem. Those cars were meant to be special. They were meant to be for those people who are diehard fans and play it so much they can afford multiple 20 million dollar cars without Bday ticket trading and glitching to get money.
 
You can win the Alfa Romeo TZ2 race car too, but i don't remember which race. You can win the 1969 ford gt 40 race car too.

It still wouldn't have killed PD to at least provide all cars unlocked in Arcade Mode, so people can just DRIVE them, which is what I'm sure the majority of people who bought this game want to do.

If they just did something that simple, then yeah, I wouldn't get the money complaints either, and if you want to use those super expensive cars in carrer and online, better go earn them. But no, we are forced to jump through stupid hoops in order to get our hands on our favorite cars just to try them out, which is ridiculous.
 
Win, beg, borrow or steal an X1... then go auto grind Like the Wind whilst you sleep or work or eat or whatever.

Assuming you play 4 hours a day (which is a lot for most people), you can make 20 million in the other 20 hours... meaning you can buy any car you want.

I enjoy GT5 more since i autogrind Like the wind. No hassle to earn little prize credits here and there to buy cars and having to grind more to upgrade those cars. Can you imagine how long would it take to buy all those 20millions cars?

Earn while you sleep... a la rubberband style, add mark20002 with a message requesting the loan of X2010 should earn you 12/14 million thru the night.

I'm actually surprised someone didn't mention rubber band grinding earlier, it is pretty much the fastest way of earning money, that is without you having to do anything. I understand some of the newer seasonals have pay outs that are about over 100,000 credits in about 3 minutes, but those races you can't rubber band.

What I think is a bit sad is even with the rubber band trick it still takes about 20 hours to earn 20 million credits.
 
I make 7,2 mill in 20 minutes, but i have 1.300 cars aiming for atleast 4.000 cars in my garage (maximum 6.000 cars).
