I tune a lot of cars. And when I post them in my tune shop, I like to list the maximum. possible HP and torque of said car. But that also requires me to break in the car, which is annoyingly time.consuming, even in B-Spec Indy 500 and quitting after however many laps are needed.

Full power in this meaning is acheived after 300 KM's, and then an Oil Change.

So what I'm looking for is a quick formula or something that I can plot a cars 0 mileage HP into and then get what it will be at "full power".

Why does it matter?

So that's first 5% from the oil added, and then 3% on top of that for break-in? Or is is 3% and then 5%? Or just 8%? Someone please clarify @.@ But other than that, that is what I'm lookign for ;D

all i know is a car with 0 miles and oil change has the highest BHP..... after you need to do a rebuild the BHP will never get that high,,, Example: my Prototype X2010 0miles with oil change was 1556 BHP... now after it needed a rebuild and it broken in it maxes out a 1449 BHP

No, after 300 KM's and an Oil Change it will max out, 0 miles cars aren't.

cars with 0 miles and an oil change= highest BHP

Then how come that with every single car in the game, the HP increases on it's way to 300 KM? And then evens out? You are wrong, admit it, and everyone on this forum can prove it.

@TeddyBear
to be fair , hes right lol , after about 300km the engine breaks in , increasing the power output. i brought a merc the otherday from the ucd and it had 590bhp at 4000 miles, and then won the same car by doing the amg challenge expert. and with 0 miles it had 578bhp ... hmmm confused lol

you do an oil change to your 0mile car?

then why wont my prototype X2010 wont get to 1556BHP..... i even rebuilt the motor and broke it in. it maxed out at 1449

How should I know... But what I do know is that for everyone elses game, you're wrong. You probably did something wrong. You checked the power limiter?

yep... before i rebuil the engine it got down to 1200 with an oil change. after the rebuild and driven its maxed at 1449. but brand new with oil change it was 1556

I don't know. Your game is messed up. You did something wrong anyways. I don't know. Now take your problem somewhere else.

Just to clarify this some not all cars from 0.0 miles benefit from the breakin period the X2010 is an example of one that doesnt but most do so really every one is correct.

After Oil Change = 1509. After break in and oil change again = 1556. So it does benefit.

Dude...no need to be so harsh :scared:

I'm not sure about the 'breaking in' period but I accidentally did an engine restore on a nearly new X2010 (just wanted to see how much it cost, hit the wrong button) and maxed it at 1556 also. Can't get better than 1520 on it now, even after a restore, but to be honest it probably doesn't make a noticeable difference to the speed in B spec!

The breaking in effect is most noticeable if you've detuned a car to an exact PP to compete in a race or challenge and then find that every now and then it becomes ineligible.

If the 5%/3% mentioned is cumulative, or only applies to the original value it wouldn't matter in which order you applied them. If one was cumulative and one was original value only, then it would.

When you drive around online the HP goes up (breaks in) but the milage doesnt show on the car status screen. I know, it's weird but that's probably the problem right there.
