I did this a little while ago. It takes some time yes but you get lots of paint (I.E. gold chrome, Blue matte & color shift) Ok, the way to do it is simple, here we go. First you need 3 things: A main accoutn, a backup account & a USB Stick. now make sure your "froends" with your backup. Save GT5 data to the USB Stick, bring up GT5, send your backup up to 5 paints you want, copy game data from USB STICK to overwrite the save with the paints taken away. Then the next reset go into your backup, accapet gifts, quit GT5, save game data GT5 files to USB Stick, then reload GT5 and send your account the 5 paints per day. But always after you send the paint be sure to ALWAYS overwrite the system GT5 files with the USB's GT5 save.

This has been around since launch. We've been well aware, but welcome to GTP.

in that case could you send me as many silver chrome as you can? my name is flair1111.

Yea Niko, I'm afraid you are a little behind on that one buddy, lol. Welcome to 2012 and the world of paint duping, lol. Just joking with ya buddy, not trying to be mean.

I think everybody's been doing this since the game could be backed up. More importantly, this method is how to get tons of tickets as well. This is why I now have at least 1 of every car in the game. Sure helps with getting all the car variants/colors. You'd be dead and gone before all of those cycled through the UCD. lol.

You got that right.👍

hahaha. But I've really never been bothered to do this. I'm too lazy

This is also why trading has died. And since I dislike the idea of duping, and don't want to risk data corruption from so much copying, I have tickets that no one wants for cars that everyone just asks, "why aren't you duping?"

I still trade. Laziness and passion keeps trading alive. I'm for laziness. I was offered a free night out tonight but I refused simply because I want to stay in where it's nice and warm and I have my PS3....

Edit: too lazy to quote.

Well, in order to copy an item, you have to have an item to copy. lol

At any rate, I share my ps3, so I'm not allowed to do this for fear I might mess up a game save not my own... (or I'm told mess up my own & then be cryin' lol)
I have heard it happens sometimes! :ouch:
Be careful when doing this that you don't make a mistake!

Also, I too am kind of too lazy to keep track of an account with certain things on it. :boggled: I don't know how people collect one of everything in the game & keep track of it. I can barely keep track of what cars I need for organized races.

Just use the mygranturismo site to organize all of your cars and items. It serves as a great tool that I always have running when I play. As far as duping being "lazier" than trading, I disagree. You have to actually beat all the seasonals or finish tiers in the game to get the tickets to dupe in the first place. This seems a lot less lazy than coming in here and asking to trade a car or item for a ticket. Also, there is no fear of any corrupt saves if you have enough back-ups. You will NEVER lose your save if you back up in enough places. Anyone losing a game save only has laziness to blame.

Yes, but to organize your cars with mygranturismo (great reference site IMO btw)... you would actually have to enter all the cars you have...
Which would require a distinct lack of laziness I think. (Or complete laziness in the entire rest of my life   )

What I did when I first started the game, was print a 6 page list of all the cars. While in the game, any car I acquired would get a red tick next to it on the sheet. Later when I got the chance, I would log in to the mygranturismo site and click on the cars I had ticked, then use a blue tick to show I had checked it on the site's list. Using the printed list while in the game, and ticking off the cars is a fairly quick way to keep track. Definitely be a lot more work if you already have half the cars in the game, but still doable. I do the same with the items as well. Still haven't tackled the myforza section yet though. lol. Maybe I'm getting lazy too.
